Why these aren't linked to the tender records: this source publishes no tender number, so a bill here can never be matched to a specific contract in the tender data elsewhere on this site. The two datasets meet only at ward level and by contractor name. Treat them as two independent public records: the tenders cover road works; the bills cover BBMP’s works spending more broadly.
Some bills name a contractor without their BBMP contractor ID. Where the name unambiguously matches a contractor listed elsewhere with an ID, those bills are folded into that contractor's profile; 215 bills whose names match no single ID are listed by name alone.
Why these totals dwarf the Key Findings figure: these figures are not comparable to the ₹721.5 crore on Key Findings, for three reasons: this record covers all BBMP works (streetlights, sewage, and more); it records payments against works, not awarded bids; and the two systems cover different, overlapping sets of works. The bills carry no tender number, so they can't be matched contract-to-contract, and the KPPP figure itself counts only the contracts that publish a value. Treat them as two separate windows onto public works money, not two measurements of the same thing.
“000 Common” is BBMP's bucket for works not attributed to any single ward (₹4.46 cr across 12 bills); it appears in these totals but on no ward's own card.
Find a contractor
Type a contractor's name (or BBMP contractor ID). Matching is exact-text: try a surname or firm word if the full name doesn't match.
Works are counted once per contractor involved: 67 works were billed under more than one contractor, so the per-contractor works figures intentionally sum to slightly more than the 4,069 distinct works above. A few contractors appear under more than one spelling in BBMP's records; their profiles are merged under their BBMP ID with every recorded spelling shown as “also billed as”.
